NT Kiting Spots on Rubi-Ka

This is a list of spots where a Froob Nanotechnician can kite mobs self buffed on Rubi-Ka. These are all spots that our NT Babaente have been able to kite and level at using only her native and self buffed run speed and damage.  Babaente logs onto RK2.  Kiting spots on RK1 may differ due to server differences.  We would appreciate it if any RK1 players could verify if the spots listed here are similar or if they vary.

This lists kiting spots by level of the kite-able mobs at each location. Each entry gives the approximate number and type of mobs, their levels, a description of the location, and any relevant notes such as higher level mobs to avoid in the vicinity. (Non-twink NT’s generally don’t start kiting to level until after they leave the Subway and have passed level 27.)

South West Mine, Lush Fields. Large area with at least a

Mobs Level 85+

Will post levels past 85 as soon as Babaente gets there.

For spots with mobs 85 and above and the favorite kiting spots of others, there are several good lists at both the official Anarchy Online forum, and the AOFroobs forums. Search either forum for “kiting” or “kiting locations”.

Currently at level 26, and I’m at SW mines. Teamed with my alt trader and we both gained one and a half levels in one kite 🙂 Will be going NW mines shortly. Thanks for the guide!

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the foggy hills in either Lush or Pleasant. These were my bread and butter spots for low level of any prof. Just S and a bit E of SW mines there’s a nice foggy hill of 6 fast-spawning claws.

Also in Mutie Domain, SW corner, there’s a low level ruins with around 30 or so mutants worth kiting. Mutie domain also has a lot of hammerheads that could be kited. I haven’t tried this myself.

Just outside of Argentum in Holes in the Wall there’s a lot of gofles around 60ish I believe, with some hammers mixed in. The tooth has vultures in that zone E of Wartorn Valley, I believe they are around 70-80ish.

There are also lower lvl borgs in Greater Tir near the outpost. This’d be an alright spot around 80-90 I believe.

Some ideas on areas to think about.

I will have to check out those Foggy Hill spots, sound interesting. The Borgs around the small Borg outpost, just north of a player city in RK2 are great for a single person, but you have to be careful to avoid several 90ish Borg and spiders that also wander around further up the canyon/ravine. I think I tried the Gofles you mentioned once self buffed and had some problems as they can run faster than the average mob/claw etc. I had never thought about trying to kite vultures, will have to give it a try. Thanks.

Still useful today! Thanks, my NT doesn’t have to rely on ToTW for levels now.
